I've taught 5 DJ boot camp retreats, most recently last weekend in Austin with #6 after Eclipse festival again in Austin. I've graduated 17 students / aspiring DJs through my program thus far.

I've been DJing hardcore for 5 years and am building a DJ boot camp online course (launching Fall 2024). Would be cool to offer an intro workshop covering the fundamentals of music / DJing for beginners and novices looking to evolve their game.

Art of DJing has evolved tremendously over recent decades. Yet the foundations, cardinal rules and essential tools remain the same.

In this introductory workshop, we will discuss the essential foundations to understanding music + performing clean DJ mixes.

No equipment needed. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Just bring curiosity and good vibes!

I will need additional gear to perform

I should be good on your system. May bring my RX2 / RX3 as those controllers easily highlight my essential points.

Fun, informative, high energy and music-centric. Learning and playing at the same time. Great place to host this.

Q&A with the participants, but no set group work.
