Yes - I have my ticket and camping
My name is Malorie Lindqvist, and I am an LCSW, integrative psychotherapist, Certified Sound Healer with expertise in group work as well as in treating complex trauma. Additionally, I have completed my 200h YTT. As a therapist for 13 years, my approach integrates evidence-based practices from Western and Eastern theories of healing and transformation. Sound Therapy is a growing field within integrative medicine. It is based on ancient wisdom practices passed on for thousands of years. I have found that mindfulness- based and present-oriented approaches offer necessary safety in the process of deep healing. I am passionate about utilizing this modality to offer a safe container to regulate the nervous system and invite deep healing in the mind and body.
My unwavering interest in the science of the human experience, consciousness and the profound effect of trauma has inspired me to develop various treatment programs at the intensive outpatient level (IOP) to include: Multifamily IOP to treat chronically suicidal youth and their families, Military Sexual Trauma Survivors IOP and a Trauma-Focused IOP for military service members suffering from combat-related PTSD.

90 minutes
(8am- 10am )Meditative Sound Ceremony. This 90 minute Spring ceremony will infuse soothing vibrations on various healing instruments to calm the mind and body, restoring internal harmony. It involves using specialized sound frequencies to create a therapeutic atmosphere to promote deep rest, nervous system rebalancing, and emotional release. This can allow participants to access to deeper levels of inner wisdom and healing. Followed by integration circle where participants can process the experience and have a safe container for a conscious conversation.
(8am-10am) Heart opening yoga class followed by Meditative Sound Ceremony. This experience will open with mindful movement intended to open the heart and create space in the body. Participants will safely land in savasana and be guided into a Sound Ceremony. The facilitator will infuse soothing vibrations on various healing instruments to calm the mind and body, restoring internal harmony. Followed by integration circle where participants can process the experience and have a safe container for a conscious conversation. (90 min, co-facilitated with Donny Starkins)
Intimacy with self and others workshop.
Malorie Lindqvist and Donny Starkins to co-facilitate a workshop around building intimacy with self and others. Participants will be invited to explore interpersonal dynamics with experiential exercises, aimed to develop increased authentic relating with self and others. We will also explore any barriers to intimacy or outdated survival strategies that no longer serve us in the present. By bringing kind awareness to our barriers to intimacy, we can open to experiencing it more fully, and find deeper fulfilment in our relationship with ourselves and others. (60 min)
Eye gazing workshop
Eye Gazing is an ancient relational practice that connects you with others through intentional eye contact. Eye Gazing induces a deep meditative state between pairs which naturally connects and dissolves barriers. This workshop is a group offering intended for all people, both singles or couples which connects humans to shared meaning through meditation, eye gazing, and movement exercises. (60 min)
Open invitation to people of all ages who are invested in making shifts to their paradigm to discover their most authentic selves, to live in greater alignment with their values, and to contribute to the elevation of global consciousness through the container of personal work. No meditation or group experience required.
- Saturday (4/6) 11am-3pm
- Sunday (4/7) 11am-3pm
- Monday (4/8) 11am-3pm
I will need additional gear to perform
I would be needing to utilize shared sound healing equipment with Shane. I do not plan to bring my own equipment but I'm aware of Shanes instruments that will be there, and I would be happy and grateful to use them when he is not using them. I just need help coordinating.
Amidst a week of noise, I believe offering a space for something a bit more subdued and introspective can provide a necessary element to the festival. I wish to be of service in raising consciousness and to be an instrument to bridge community and to restore relational connection in a safe container.
