Deep Dub Bass Yoga (Yoga Teacher, Scott Winslow & DJ Hyphen Select) was born in 2018, after 5 years of local studio collaborations together, when Scott Winslow & DJ Hyphen Select were invited to create a unique Yoga Experience at the very first Bass Canyon Festival in 2018. We requested to present our Yoga Workshop on a "larger than usual (for Yoga)" sound system – which was a huge success thanks to Team Excision + PK Sound who really brought our vision to life!

After that first outing, Deep Dub Bass Yoga has gone on to present this special Yoga Experience at Festivals such as: Lost Lands (Ohio), EDC (Nevada), Nocturnal Wonderland (California), Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival (Florida), Lightning in a Bottle (California), Paradise Blue (Cancun), etc and have now turned thousands of festival-goers who swore they would never do yoga, into full fledged yogis & yoga teachers!

Scott Winslow is the owner of Embody Wellness Hub in Chino, CA and has been teaching Yoga for over a decade. DJ Hyphen Select has over 3 decades of experience playing at various raves/music festivals + over a decade playing for yoga classes/yoga festivals and is also known for his collaborations with groups such as Parallel, Sacred Liiight, Mental Physix & Deep Dub Bass Yoga.

Deep Dub Bass Yoga will ground your vibe and bliss you out by bathing you in the sacred dub frequencies of DJ Hyphen Select. You will simultaneously journey though a meditative beginner friendly flow of breath, movement and collective rhythm guided by LA based yoga teacher Scott Winslow. Follow the Bass!

I will need additional gear to perform

For leading the class, a headset will be needed + we request that there are a decent amount of sub-bass brought into this class to capture the true experience. Normally yoga classes only have 2 small PA speakers and no subs. When these classes REALLY BUMP, the experience is NEXT LEVEL and unlike any yoga class you've ever experienced. This is really our only requirement, hence our name, and will be really worth the efforts.

If smaller classes are requested from us (on top of the main ones), we are also willing to play on smaller sound systems (especially if it's a class for staff or VIP areas) but definitely want to have the majority of our offerings in sub-minded environments. Thank you so much for understanding.

It is one of the most unique/life-changing/larger than life yoga offerings being done and couldn't think of a better place to bring this experience than The Invisible Intersection.

We also work with the Ajna Light–which is one of the rarest intentional Light Technologies on the planet and it can be used during Savasana, at the end of the class to create a pineal activation experience to help people explore their consciousness. This technology works best (especially in larger crowds) in a darker space (so that the light can travel further) or during evening classes, if presented outside.

We put down that we would be available from Sunday afternoon – End of festival only because we currently have an event booked on Saturday 4/6 here in California and could fly out late Saturday night/Sun Early AM but if this booking will only happen if we were to be available the entire time…there is a possibility of having someone fill in/cancelling that event if 100% needed. We can discuss this further as we talk more about this possible booking.
