I have volunteered at Arise Music Festival and Sonic Bloom years ago before I started working them. One year I did parking and traffic control at Arise, as well as site cleanup. I believe it was 2014. I also did site cleanup at Sonic Bloom the same year. Following that I began working for Arise as a stage manager for the Festival stage, and for Sonic Bloom providing audio for the workshops.
I have extensive experience working with audio reinforcement equipment, including Funktion One and a large assortment of professional audio brands and processing equipment. I also have advanced live band engineering skills, as well as system tuning and acoustic principles knowledge and practice. Furthermore, I have lighting design and equipment programming skills that includes laser zoning and calibration. Event electrical and power needs and safety protocols. Stage management logistics, communication, and diplomacy. Basically and all around event technical specialists with a king of cool attitude and approach.
Working with artists and technical gear is my specialty, but I’m always happy to help out where help is needed. Coming out of a rather unfortunate club management situation, I am simply elated to get back into the festival scene as it has always been something very important to my life and development as a person that I have missed dearly.
I have been out of the festival scene for a couple years now, which I have come to realize has been a severe detriment to my mental and spiritual well being. I miss dearly the family and creative aspects that it has always provided. I also see the eclipse festival as a very powerful opportunity to be able to do so, and having had the chance to meet Jacob at Everland years ago and running into him recently at ETHDenver, this feels like a serendipitous journey that I can’t pass up.
Everything that has heart and soul driving it. Whether it’s country to metal, hip-hop to R&B, Americana to Jam Bands, and a very broad spectrum of EDM including House, Trance, DnB, Halftime, Breaks, Dubstep, you name it, especially if it has a Psybient flare to it. I do struggle with riddum and anything with derogatory or superficial sexual content in it however. I suspect that won’t be a problem though, lol!
Keep the dairy away, lol! But I’ll provide my own food as I am pretty specific on what I eat. Other than that, I’m super easy going.
I come with love and compassion, and it’s my mission in life to help facilitate as much as possible for the world.
