Lauren Halstead, known by stage name "Halsteady", is a New York and Miami based DJ and producer. Hailing from the depths of New York's underground music culture, Lauren is a force to be reckoned with.
Halsteady aims to take you on a journey through the ages with her eclectic techno sets embracing influences from rock and roll, rock, rockabilly, country, blues, gospel sounds, folk, disco and funk.
Lauren's musical journey began at an early age where she was classically trained in piano, clarient, and vocals. She started DJing in 2012 where she held a residency at The Royal in Union square, and has since then appeared all over New York.
Emerging from the darkness to light, Halsteady's journey to unite humanity through love and music has only begun. She is one to watch.
