After many years as a dancer and raver, Bratches – formerly known as Taylor Bratches (she/they) – began DJing in Los Angeles in 2016. In 2018, Resident Advisor named her mix for The Bunker NY “best of the month.” In 2019, she moved to New York, making rounds in the NYC club circuit (Public Records, Good Room, The Bunker, Bossa Nova Civic Club and others), before being noticed by the iconic label Dirtybird and joining their artist roster for multiple festivals including Dirtybird Campout. She has toured across the U.S. and has released tracks on Justin Jay's label Fantastic Voyage and the ambient label Enmossed. Bratches' sets are known for versatility and risk-taking, riding a wide BPM range, fusing genres, and emphasizing bass music in all its forms: from DnB to dubstep to newer more experimental styles. Bratches has shared stages and lineups with Skrillex, Ivy Lab, The Glitch Mob, Nikki Nair, Anna Morgan, Hodge, Claude Vonstroke, Sinistarr, Eris Drew, Doctor Jeep, Justin Jay, Lauren Flax, The Juan Maclean, Yheti, and many more.

Bratches was also a music critic for Resident Advisor, writing album reviews and running a feature series called Dance Floor Epiphanies, focusing on moments of personal transformation on the dance floor. She also an energy healer and psychedelic facilitator residing in Colorado.

Dubstep/140, drum and bass, UKG, Grime, jungle, broken techno, house, electro. And newer experimental bass music in the 130-140 range that can't quite be classified!

I will need additional gear to perform

Yes I think this works – just want to clarify – did this mean to say CDJ-2000nx2? If so, this is all I need! (I am not sure what the 200 model is)

My preference would be to play at night / afterhours, though I did add a couple additional options.

Also, my personal website leans heavily towards my daytime work as a healer. My Instagram is my primary link / what I would like to be shared.

I should also mention that I am literally in the process right now of transitioning my artist name from Taylor Bratches (my full, real name) to just "Bratches". It is something I have been in talks about for a long time, and I was planning to announce my new alias early next week (I have a mix coming out in early May that will be released as "Bratches"). I have not yet switched over all of my social links to announce this yet. This opportunity to play at Eclipse is unexpected (and wonderful!) and I view playing at Invisible Intersection as potentially the perfect time to DJ for the first time under my new artist name. However, if this complicates things on your end and it would make more sense to promote under my established artist name, I am happy to hold off and wait to announce my new artist name until after the festival.

Thanks for reading! And for this incredible opportunity. I cannot wait to be a part of what you are creating.
