Wiggles

I've been DJing for 15+ years and have spanned many genres.
Most notably, I became the only consistent resident of Peter Blick's Below Radar parties in Denver, where I got to set the vibe for many of my favorite artists of that time period.

Here's a bio a friend and promoter wrote about me bc I don't like talking about myself:

Never a stranger to mixing wizardry, George Michael has found new sonic inspiration and is ready to walk us all through a darker groove on the funky side of town. Deploying a multi-genre approach teetering on eclecticism he allocates aspects of 90's rave, house, dark disco, breaks, balearic and more, with a driving foundation of percussion, dub, and groove.
If 💦ACID💦 itself was a world traveler, this is what it would move like. Be ready to explore many realms of sonic movement. As always, George Michael thrives in the pocket and we are eager to see where he takes us.
Loosely considered come prepared to… dub, chug, rave, repeat.

I love creating a cohesive journey of chuggy grooves and basslines mixed with psychedelic textures. I pull from house, techno, acid, 90's rave, deep tech, breaks, indie dance/disco, and dub. I'm very all over the place, but I put it all together very seamlessly.

AMAZING!! This is all I need!

I wrote a couple of very special sets that I was about to record, but I would be honored to play at the Eclipse seven years after Oregon, which was a very transformative experience for me.

If you plan to have them play, I would love to play nearby Peter Blick or Joey Burton's sets, those are two of my best friends who I've played beside numerous times, especially Peter who I've done a number of b2bs with. All of us together would pull a very solid sized group of friends.

Here are a few sets-
Faster, peak hour set: https://soundcloud.com/georgemichaeldj/ste-001-1

Acid Pauli opener: https://soundcloud.com/georgemichaeldj/george-michael-at-the-black-box-w-acid-pauli-and-peter-blick-111321

3+ hour journey from slow to fast bpms: https://soundcloud.com/georgemichaeldj/soul-plane-20

The first set is closer to what I currently play, and it's gotten better since then,, but I can also thrive in those slower, downtempo, balaeric, dubby tempos.
I'd much prefer to play at a more peak hour because that's what I have been much deeper in for the last five years, but before that, I was known for my downtempo sets at our Denver Below Radar parties and can play some midday times, so I would be open to playing one of those times if the latter is not possible, or both 🙂

You can also find me helping to setup the Quantum Activation Temple art installation at the eclipse on 4/2

All of the set times requested are under the assumption that when you Saturday night 12-2 am, etc., you mean technically Sunday, but late Saturday night, for example.
