Bio // The Story So Far
Akriza [uh-krih-zuh] is a musician and electronic music producer hailing from the West Coast of the US. He has been producing music, both classical and electronic, for over two decades. He is a classically trained pianist and has a degree in audio engineering.
Akriza formally started his music project in 2020 and had his first release as Akriza on High Vibe Records Nov. 11th, 2020. Since then, he has had over 2 million streams, has over 100 finished songs in his catalog, and has a release on Gravitas Records. He has played at many festivals and shows since then and is always working to better and advance his music career
Some of Akriza’s notable performances include playing internationally in Mexico, Guatemala and Peru, One Love Festival, Unison Festival, High Vibe Festival, Abraxas (man burn), Lumidance, Reverbia, and Sound Garden at Burning Man, and many Living Prism events.
He explores a range of genres in his productions, most often characterized by epic cinematic movements and soaring vocal melodies. His work ranges from heavy bangers to deeper emotional tracks, inspired by his travels around the world–capturing and reflecting the feelings of awe that arise from witnessing some of the earth’s most epic natural beauty. Some of Akriza’s sonic influences include Clozee, Of The Trees, and TroyBoi.
His third studio album Where You Are, Now was released on Gravitas Recordings in 2023 and he has many releases and collaborations planned for 2024.
