Lee Knight is a multi-faceted child of the west currently residing in Colorado. Ever since
childhood Lee always dreamed of riding bulls. The childhood dream became a reality when Lee
traded Coastal California for the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
As a bull rider competing on the IGRA circuit Lee has been the subject for artists and their
various media outlets, shedding light on the strong BIPOC and Queer themes that Rural
America was founded upon. Lee continues their cowboy dream challenging stereotypes, and
bulls one buck at a time.
As a musician Lee has intensely studied, performed and conducted collegiately. Upon graduation Lee has collaborated with local Denver talents like Joe King from the Frey, DeVotchka, the Flobots and other internationally performing artists like the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Grammy award winning Latin group Ozomatli.
Lee currently performs as a solo artist with their project Black Wolf. The hybrid DJ program utilizes live instrumentation, electronics, looping and mixing, for an experimental indulgence into Lee’s world.

Black Wolf’s desire to stand out from the crowd, has created a sound, that is provocative, rich and boundary pushing. Lee combines genre-pushing electronics with multi-instrumentalist control and execution. Incorporating tonal poetry, heavy, pulsing, electronic grooves and harmonies with the grunge and beauty of live trombone, for a sound that lives somewhere between house, trance and industrial music.
